Position:	Part-time Group Leader for a Hotel Kids Club Program
Hours:	8:30am - 4:30pm, Mon. - Fri. ( Validated parking is provided )

Position Overview
A group leader may work independently or with another staff member under the management of the site coordinator. A group leader will supervise a group at or below a staff-to-child ratio of 1:8.

General Responsibilities
Implementing childcare activities for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years; changing diapers and/or soiled clothing, striving to make activities meaningful and enjoyable; providing activities that are age-appropriate and unique to Hawaii; setting and meeting time constraints; and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children while providing a fun and memorable experience.

Additional responsibilities include - relate joyfully and sensitively to children; greet parents cheerfully; greet children individually and warmly; communicate with children and parents; cooperate and communicate with hotel personnel

Requirements

• Must have experience in working with children
• Must have, or be able to obtain, current First Aid/CPR certification
• Must be able to work with Japanese speaking children
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clear a state and national criminal background check
• Clear an employment history check
