Duties/Responsibilities:
â–ª review and verify invoices and check requests
â–ª sort, code and match invoices
â–ª set invoices up for payment
â–ª enter and upload invoices into system
â–ª track expenses and process expense reports
â–ª prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
â–ª prepare and perform check runs
â–ª post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
â–ª reconcile accounts payable transactions
â–ª prepare analysis of accounts
â–ª monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
â–ª research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
â–ª maintain vendor files
â–ª correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
â–ª produce monthly reports and assist with month end closing
â–ª provide supporting documentation for audits
â–ª prepare, review and record deposits of customer and contractual payments into checking account and maintain accurate account balance
â–ª Compute rent payments due to lessors
â–ª Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
One to three years of experience in accounts payables and relevant accounting software is required. Sage Accpac experience preferred. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, e-mail and database software programs required. Candidate must be highly organized, a team player, proficient in data entry and able to meet multiple deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
