Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday – Friday (8am-5pm)

Salary: $45,000 - $50,000

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is a part of the HR/Payroll department.  The position is responsible for connecting with potential applicants, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers.  Recruiting qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Configure ApplicantStack database recruitment system for various program staffing needs as required
  • Opening and closing jobs, generating correspondence, screenings, and recording phone interview notes on each candidate’s profile as well as and the proper disposition of all applicants.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, ex: ApplicantStack monthly reporting, social media analytics and employee turnover rates
  • Generate Recruitment strategies with Marketing for Daily, Weekly, and Monthly social media coverage
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization
  • Assist hiring managers with scheduling interviews (in-person and virtual)
  • Represent Kama’aina Kids at career fairs and networking events with a positive attitude
  • Communicate regularly with both the HR and Marketing departments
  • Maintain healthy communication with field staff for accurate recruiting information
  • Provide exceptional customer service for all candidate and employee inquiries
  • Ability to interview and recruit quality candidates for multiple levels of positions
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal labor laws and regulations
  • Responsible for the entire hiring process from recruitment to on-boarding new hires
  • Maintaining all job applications on all platforms, ensuring candidates are replied to in a timely manner
  • Create and update job descriptions, in-house postings, etc.
  • Consult with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job qualifications
  • Assist HR/Payroll department

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a team member of the HR/Payroll department and support the department as needed
  • Assist with processing HR paperwork as required
  • Filing and storing confidential documents

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • College Education is preferred but not required. 1-3 years of related work experience is also preferred
  • Basic Human Resources knowledge required
  • Excel, Outlook, and Word software experience required
  • Exceptional customer service required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Payroll processing experience preferred
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities/multi-task
  • ApplicantStack software knowledge is a plus
  • Ambitious, goal-oriented, self-starter preferred
  • Professional with a positive attitude and ability to work with office peers is preferred

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
