Position Title:	Heeia State Park Groundskeeper and Maintenance
Reports to:	Jolie Moniz, Parks Director
Location:	46-465 Kamehameha Hwy Kaneohe HI 96744

 
POSITION SUMMARY:
Part-time opening for a Maintenance & Grounds Worker at our He’eia State Park located in Kaneohe. The position will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance of the Park which may include: janitorial duties, grounds keeping, simple repairs and maintenance tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Opening the Park at 7 am most days.
• Janitorial responsibilities of 3 restrooms & all park facilities.
• Inventory management of all cleaning supplies & paper goods.
• Lawn maintenance-mowing-weeding-planting & fertilizing.
• Ability to use & operate gas-powered lawn tools-mower-weed wacker & blower.
• Facility maintenance to include performing minor repairs with hand & power tools.
• Ability to continually lift up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain, service, clean, and properly store equipment & tools

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High school education or GED equivalent or relevant work experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience highly desirable.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Clean driving abstract
